Reporting to the Senior Chef, the selected candidate will have the responsibility to help in the daily activities of the kitchen.
What you will be doing:
- Prepare ingredients for production of the day: washing and peeling vegetable, cutting meat mainly preparation for patient, cafeteria and special orders.
- Cooking and preparation of the ingredients as per specifications.
- Cleaning up of materials and utensils, together with table and equipment used.
- Liaise with Diet Supervisors with other staff
- Clean up kitchen, chillers, freezers and oven in appropriate way in order to guarantee the cleanliness and disinfections at all times
- Always ensure that hygiene is kept to a minimum as per required standard: hand washing, grooming, wearing of gloves and cap
What are we looking for?
- At least 1-year experience in a similar position.
- Possess a valid Food Handler Certificate.
- Good interpersonal skills.
