Job Summary:

The Cancer Centre Manager is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and administration of services at the cancer center. This includes ensuring the highest quality of patient care, managing staff and resources, overseeing budgets, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. The manager works closely with medical professionals, patients, and external stakeholders to ensure that the center operates efficiently and effectively while achieving its strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operational Management:

o Oversee the daily operations of the cancer center, ensuring all services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

o Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain clinical excellence and operational efficiency.

o Ensure the center is fully compliant with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and safety protocols.

· Patient Care and Experience:

o Ensure that patients receive high-quality care and that their experience at the center is positive and supportive.

o Work with the medical team to develop patient-centered care plans and ensure that all services are tailored to meet the unique needs of cancer patients.

o Address patient complaints and concerns promptly and effectively.

· Staff Management:

o Recruit, train, and manage a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff.

o Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing professional development opportunities for staff.

o Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

· Financial Management:

o Develop and manage the center’s budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and controlling costs.

o Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, and implement corrective actions as needed.

o Prepare financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.

· Strategic Planning and Development:

o Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans for the growth and development of the oncology center.

o Identify opportunities for service expansion, partnership development, and community outreach.

o Lead initiatives to improve service delivery, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency.

· Quality Assurance and Improvement:

o Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided at the center, using key performance indicators and patient feedback.

o Implement continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

o Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare standards and accreditation requirements.

· Community and Stakeholder Engagement:

o Serve as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies.

o Represent the center at meetings, conferences, and public events.

o Develop and maintain relationships with referring physicians, healthcare networks, and community partners.

Qualifications:

· Education:

o Degree in Healthcare Administration, Medical, Nursing or a related field is required.

o Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

· Experience:

o Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management, with at least 2 years in an oncology or specialized healthcare setting.

o Demonstrated experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and healthcare operations.

· Skills:

o Strong leadership and management skills.

o Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

o Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and financial management.

o In-depth knowledge of oncology services and the healthcare regulatory environment.

o Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
