Order reception – Receive ordered items from supplier, checking invoice, physical quantity and item features. Process Good Receipt Note in compliance with C-Care Procedure.
Issues - Prepare products as per approved procedures based on requisitions received and deliver to authorized personnel.
Shelving - Shelving and store products according to Good Warehousing and housekeeping Practices and/ or internal policies. Follow up of a good FEFO and FIFO process.
Inventory management - Coordinate and participate in special and scheduled stock counts as required. Ensure management of expiry list and dormant lists to mitigate risks. Ensures no variances from inventory.
Stock integrity - physical stock tally with stock in the system.
Familiarity - Familiar with description (specification, unit of quantity, application) and their location in the stores.
Customer/ User satisfaction - Upholds and maintains levels of service that ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction are met.
Health & Safety - Follow all relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions so that personal safety/the safety of others is not jeopardized and a minimum level of product/service quality and environmental impact can be guaranteed.
Compliance - Follow all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
What are we looking for?
Higher School Certificate
2-3 years of experience working as a Storekeeper. Industry knowledge and experience is preferred
Time management skills
Good communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
