What you will be doing:
• To organize the shift work to enhance ownership of duties
• To get or hand over all essential information from the previous or to the following Nurse in charge on the change of each shift
• To ensure that instructions are carried out properly when coming or before leaving the ward
• To liaise with the Nursing Coordinator whenever performances are below expectations and in case of any mishap
• To ensure that important information concerning patients are cascade down to patients and to Doctors
• To ensure proper ordering of all drugs and closely monitor ward stocks as directed
• To always ensure cleanliness and tidiness of ward What are we looking for?
What are we looking for?
• Diploma in General Nursing and at least 5 years’ experience as Nursing Officer with a valid PIN with Nursing Council of Mauritius.
• Team player with excellent customer care skills.
• Ability to cope with a busy environment.
• Computer Literate.
