C-Care, part of the healthcare cluster of CIEL Group, is a Mauritian private healthcare group, owning and operating the two main private healthcare facilities in Mauritius, namely Clinique Darné and Wellkin Hospital. C-Care also owns and manages C-Care Clinic and C-Lab.

C-Care is currently looking for a Patient Experience Manager at Wellkin Hospital.

Patient Experience Manager   

Reporting to the Service Excellence and Business Development Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for creating a bridge between the Hospital and patients and/or their relatives.

What you will be doing:

  • Work with clinical staff and ancillary departments to resolve patient complaints.
  • Develop a documentation system that provide detailed data on patient interactions with clinical staff in various care units within the department.
  • Enhance patient care experience by identifying and addressing areas for quality and performance improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with quality and other department to address patient and family issues.
  • Develop patient relationships and resolved issues that minimized grievances and increase patient loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Review medical records and billing statements for accuracy, investigate areas of concern and provide prompt resolution.
  • Develop and manage the Service Recovery Program for the organization.
  • Be the point of contact for all patient complaints and grievances, both in-house and post-discharge.
  • Lead, facilitate and advise departments in designing risk management programs within their department.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant clinical area, healthcare / Business Administration, Guest Relations, Counselling / Psychology or related field. A Master’s Degree is strongly desired.
  • Minimum of five years’ clinical or administrative experience in healthcare leadership position with a focus on patient experience and / or customer service.
