IT Operations Manager

C-Care International, part of the healthcare cluster of CIEL Group, is a Mauritian private healthcare group that owns and operates four healthcare facilities in Mauritius, namely C-Care Darné, Wellkin, Grand-Baie and Tamarin, and two hospitals in Uganda, C-Care IHK and IMC. C-Care also owns and manages 22 primary care Clinics and 55 C-Lab collection centres in Mauritius, Uganda, and Madagascar.

C-Care is currently looking for an IT Operations Manager to be based at C-Care Corporate Office, in Mauritius.

| IT Operations Manager

Reporting to the Head of IT, the selected candidate will oversee computer systems, IT, and electronic data operations across business units, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. The role involves managing daily IT operations, maintaining the availability and reliability of systems and networks, overseeing technology vendors, and implementing new technologies to enhance productivity. The selected candidate will also ensure that IT policies and procedures remain current and compliant with industry standards and regulations.

• Oversee daily IT operations to ensure smooth system and network performance.
• Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Build a trusted relationship with main customers of assigned BU.
• Manage IT infrastructure, vendors, and service providers to meet organizational needs.
• Ensure that all data, network access and systems are secure and protected.
• Lead and support the IT team in achieving operational and project goals.
• Implement and evaluate new technologies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot issues, and support end-users.
• Stay up to date with emerging IT trends and recommend system improvements.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum BSc/BA in Computer Science, IT or relevant field
• Proven experience as an IT Operations Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and cloud computing.
• Hands-on experience in system installation, configuration, and analysis.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
