Projects & IT Coordination Trainee

The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating IT support activities, following up on service requests and system issues, maintaining trackers and documentation, and supporting project and operational activities.


What you will be doing:

  • Monitor and follow up on IT tickets, service requests, and pending issues to ensure timely resolution and user satisfaction.
  • Coordinate the delivery, collection, and tracking of IT equipment while maintaining accurate records.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain IT request forms, equipment delivery forms, and related documentation.
  • Act as a liaison with the HIS team to follow up on open tickets, system issues, and user requests.
  • Maintain logs, trackers, and reports for system issues, requests, and resolution status.
  • Assist in the coordination and follow-up of ongoing projects, ensuring activities are tracked and completed according to timelines.
  • Maintain administrative trackers, follow-up sheets, and operational records to support effective workflow management.
  • Support day-to-day operational activities and facilitate coordination between departments to ensure smooth communication and execution of tasks.
  • Follow up on action items, monitor progress, and provide regular status updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and supporting the implementation of operational enhancements.

What are we looking for?

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  •  Experience in IT support coordination, administration, project support, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with technical teams and business users.
  • Experience in tracking and monitoring IT tickets, service requests, and operational activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
