Organize work by matching the bar code details with the test required on the HIS.
Sort specimens for testing.
Ensure timely preparation of solutions, reagents, stains and other materials as may be required.
Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and/or electronic) with accuracy and responsibility.
Arrange reports for validation and delivery prior to competency assess.
Maintain quality results by running standards and controls, verify equipment function through routine equipment maintenance and advanced trouble shooting.
Monitor quality control measures and protocols.
Monitor stock and responsible for the stock for the assigned section.
What are we looking for?
A bachelor’s degree in biomedical, biology, Chemistry, biotechnology, life sciences or any related field
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in similar field
Good knowledge of laboratory practices (testing, analysis, safety, efficient reporting, compliance, troubleshooting)
Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
