Head of Finance

C-Care is currently looking for a Head of Finance to be based at the corporate office in C-Care Wellkin.

Head of Finance:

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Oversee and ensure robust internal controls are in place, meeting both external and internal audit requirements.
• Guarantee compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
• Lead internal and external audits, ensuring smooth and timely completion.
• Ensure the accuracy and timely completion of financial accounts for all business units and the group as a whole.
• Develop and maintain financial processes while understanding operations and overall sector requirements to ensure consistency and reliability of financial data.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aimed at improving operational efficiency and enhancing financial performance.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial strategies with the company’s overarching goals.
• Monitor and report on financial performance, offering insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure financial goals are aligned with the company's objectives.
• Foster strong inter-departmental relationships to enhance financial integration and communication.
• Encourage and develop a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the finance team.
• Implement best practices and new financial technologies to improve team performance.
• Assist the Group Financial Controller in strategic planning and financial forecasting to support company  growth and sustainability.
• Oversee efficient cash flow management, optimizing liquidity and financial stability.
• Implement effective cash management strategies and practices.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, promoting professional growth and development.

What are we looking for?

• ACCA qualified or holder of a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Extensive experience in financial management, preferably in the healthcare sector.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Good time management skill.
• Good team player and willingness to learn.
