C-Care International, part of the healthcare cluster of CIEL Group, is a Mauritian private healthcare group that owns and operates four healthcare facilities in Mauritius, namely C-Care Darné, Wellkin, Grand-Baie and Tamarin, and two hospitals in Uganda, C-Care IHK and IMC. C-Care also owns and manages 22 primary care Clinics and 55 C-Lab collection centres in Mauritius, Uganda, and Madagascar.
C-Care is currently looking for a Project Lead – Internal Communications & Cultural Transformation to be based at C-Care Corporate Office, in Mauritius.
| Project Lead – Internal Communications & Cultural Transformation
Reporting to the Group Chief People & Continuous Improvement Officer, the selected candidate will drive the execution of the Group People Strategy by leading internal communications, change management and cultural transformation initiatives across the Group.
The role acts as the internal owner for key communication, culture and EVP programmes, including the rollout of a Group employee communication platform, ensuring consistent delivery, strong leadership alignment and sustainable adoption across all countries.
Working closely with CPCIO, HR COEs, Heads of HR, Marketing & Communications, IT/Digital teams and operational leaders, the role translates People & Culture strategy into clear narratives, structured communication plans and coordinated change activities in a multi-country environment.
What you will be doing:
Project & Change Management
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success measures with CPCIO, HR and functional leaders.
- Develop and track integrated project, change and communication plans, including milestones, dependencies, risks and issues.
- Ensure structured weekly tracking and monthly Steering Committee / governance reporting.
- Drive disciplined execution, anticipate risks and escalate issues in a timely manner
Internal Communications
- Design and implement the Group internal communication roadmap aligned with C-Care People Strategy and transformation priorities
- Lead internal communication for major initiatives, including EVP, culture transformation, acquisitions and integrations
- Develop leadership toolkits, cascading packs, FAQs, townhall content and campaigns
- Ensure clear, consistent and audience-appropriate messaging across all countries
- Monitor communication reach, engagement and effectiveness
Culture, EVP & Transformation
- Act as internal project lead for the Group Culture & EVP programme
- Coordinate execution across countries and Business Units
- Manage internal stakeholders and external consultants supporting EVP and culture initiatives
- Translate EVP and cultural frameworks into clear narratives and behaviours
- Support localisation while maintaining Group-level coherence
- Track culture, EVP and communication KPIs and report progress to governance forums
Employee Communication Platform
- Lead the business side of the selection, design and rollout of a Group employee communication platform/intranet
- Define business requirements, user journeys, content governance and editorial standards
- Coordinate with IT and vendors for implementation and rollout
- Lead change management and adoption activities post-launch
- Monitor usage, engagement and drive continuous improvement
Stakeholder Engagement & Capability Building
- Build communication and change capability across HR and BU teams
- Coach leaders on effective change leadership and internal communication
- Facilitate workshops, alignment sessions and working groups
- Embed communication and change practices into business-as-usual operations
- Consolidate KPIs into dashboards and progress reports
What are we looking for?
- Degree in Communication, Digital Communication, HR, Change Management, Organisational Development or related field
- 5–10 years’ experience in internal communications, change management, culture or transformation roles within complex organisations
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional, multi-country projects
- Strong project management and governance capability
- Experience working with digital communication platforms/intranets
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly structured, delivery-focused and comfortable operating in ambiguity
- Ability to influence and coordinate without direct authority.
