C-Care is looking for a dedicated and highly motivated Assistant Radiographer to join our healthcare team. As an Assistant Radiographer, you will work under the supervision of experienced radiology professionals to provide diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Radiographic Imaging: Perform radiographic imaging procedures under the guidance of licensed radiologic technologists and radiologists.
Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process, ensuring their comfort, and positioning them correctly for the best image quality.
Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order and adhering to safety protocols.
Radiation Safety: Adhere to all radiation safety guidelines, ensuring the safety of both patients and staff during procedures.
Quality Control: Assist with quality control and quality assurance procedures to maintain the highest level of image quality.
Image Processing: Process and develop radiographic images using digital technology or traditional film techniques.
Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records, documenting all relevant information related to the radiographic procedures.
Patient Care: Provide emotional support and care to patients during procedures, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent is required.
-Successful completion of an accredited radiography assistant program or equivalent training.
-State certification or licensure, if applicable.
-Basic understanding of radiologic imaging equipment and technology.
