Clinical Transcriptionist (Doctor Support Staff)

Reporting to the Medical Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for accurately transcribing medical documentation and supporting the clinical team in maintaining precise and up-to-date patient records. This role is vital in ensuring the timely, confidential, and compliant handling of all clinical documentation.

• Accurately transcribe dictated medical notes and reports.
• Assist in the preparation of discharge summaries and medical certificates.
• Maintain and update electronic health records as per guidelines.
• Ensure proper filing and availability of patient documentation.
• Liaise with medical staff for clarification and document verification.
• Support doctors with administrative follow-ups related to patient care.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with medical documentation standards.

What are we looking for? 

-MBBS (for medically trained candidates), a Transcriptionist Diploma, or an equivalent qualification in a medical or health sciences field.

-Previous experience in medical transcription, hospital documentation, or working with electronic medical records is an advantage.
