Reporting to the Collection Centre Supervisor, the candidate will play a crucial role in collecting and delivering samples between our different locations, assisting with minor maintenance and repairs, and providing support to the administrative office with deliveries of documents, payments, and other tasks when needed.
What you will be doing:
• Safely and efficiently collect and deliver laboratory samples by motorbike across multiple locations.
• Assist with the delivery of documents, payments, and other items for the administrative office.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks within laboratory and office facilities.
• Support the Biomedical and Facilities Officer with facilities-related tasks and projects.
• Maintain the motorbike and other tools in good working condition.
• Ensure timely and accurate handling of all samples, documents, and items.
• Adhere to all safety standards and regulations related to sample handling, document delivery, and facilities work.
What are we looking for?
• Valid motorbike license and ability to ride a motorbike confidently.
• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience is required.
• Previous experience in a courier role, facilities maintenance, or administrative support is an advantage.
• Basic repair skills and a hands-on approach to solving problems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to a range of duties across different areas.
